Celebrate Easter!
It’s the greatest day in history! No single day has had so significant an impact on the world as the day Jesus rose from the dead.
Here are some ways that you can join in what God is doing this Easter at MCN!
Thursday 4/2 at 7 p.m.
“Maundy Thursday” is a special service where we reflect on the need we have for a savior, and the great love Jesus displayed by going to the cross. The deep moments in this service make the celebrations Sunday all the more powerful.
Friday 4/3 @ 7 p.m.
There will be a screening of “Passion of the Christ” in the High School Sunday School classroom (can be moved if we need the room!)
Saturday 4/4 at 11 a.m.
Celebrate with the whole family in a community Easter Egg Hunt at Meade City Park.
Sunday 4/5 at 9:45 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.
Resurrection Day! We’re going all in celebrating what Jesus accomplished for all humanity when He rose from the dead. Start off with pancake breakfast at 9:45 AM, then join in worship at 10:45 AM and be blessed as our choir presents the Easter Cantata “Our God Reigns”. Laugh, sing, and shout as we celebrate our Savior who has set us free!
Easter Egg Hunt!
Kids from toddlers through sixth grade come to Meade City Park at 11am on Saturday, April 4 (The day before Easter) for the annual Easter Egg Hunt! 5,000 eggs filled with candy and toys, including special prize eggs will be hidden throughout the park in three different age group sections. You may even see some very special guests! And make sure to look for the special prize eggs hidden for each age group!
Pre-registerion has ended but you don’t have to pre-register to attend so come join us on Saturday!!!!
